Only passion can create beauty. That’s what it boils down to. We help develop your idea in detail: we don’t go for less. And that’s where I come in, together with my team.

I was 54 years old when I started Mathildestudios. Everyone said I was crazy. But honestly, more than 40 years of experience as a graphic designer, you simply cannot let that go to waste, now can you? These days we are so much more than a graphic design studio. I pass my knowledge on to my team, which includes my daughter Laurien and her partner Joris. Not bad for a crazy guy, wouldn’t you say?

An inspiration absorbing sponge

Without inspiration, no creativity. That’s why you have to keep on learning: you’re never too old to learn. How do I get my inspiration? By wandering around in cities and museums. Or by visiting book shops or attending a festival. Just like a sponge, I absorb all those impressions in order to incorporate them in your project.
